Continuous Assessment Programme | 2-5 Years

The continuous assessment programme includes the observation and assessment of ages 2-5 years to determine the progress of the children in their milestones.

Document consists of a 23 page document:

Short descriptive manual on how to use the document
2-3 year assessment and concepts
3-4 year assessment and concepts
4-5 year assessment and concepts
2-5 milestones for referral
The assessment and concepts has two boxes for the first and second half of the year to mark with a cross or tick.
Each concept has the activity where it can be used e.g. high and low, quick and slow - gross motor and music
The 2-5 year millstones are next to each other for referral. If a child hasn't reach the milestone at 4 years it can be referred back to 3 years.
